After the small success of whipping up a sweat fight and odor control stick and considering I missed a ingredient...Time to made some more deodorant.

This batch refilled two reused stick deodorant container and since I made extra I decided to experiment.


Say hello to "Deodorant bar"  The first ever batch I made was missing baking soda and I found it lack the strength of a commercial brand. Having to reapply through out the day is not my cup of cake but still strong 3 containers of the stuff lasted..5 months. Finally at my last bar I  could wait no longer i I cut the last remaining bar and re-melt and added it to this newly made batch.

 

In a sauce pan I heated a pot of water to almost boiling. Enough to melt 1 spoon full of Shea butter and my last stick to a creamy consistency.

I found some recipes on youtube from some awesome ladies  and then did my own thing with what I learned. It's so simple to find recipes and tutorials online and experiment I leave it up to you to take matters into your own hands and join the fun!!!! XOXO

Upgraded drawing tablet better results- Look at this now

What a difference a few inches makes. I am am much happier with the larger drawing area thank you DigiPro 5"x4" drawing tablet. Now I can get back to the doodling on a whole new medium from paper to tablet. A dream come true technology has come a long way to being with in my price range. Happy days xoxo

Lenght check after 2 plus months of Genie loc style

Not only is my hair growing but my nails as well loving my new length. I still experience hair and nail breakage but its to be expected its all apart of the natural process. My front bangs are growing back thicker and longer when I last did a check these pieces were barely passing my eye lids.







Chin length here I come which I will be achieving in 2 plus months..If all goes as planned.

Genie locs un-done still wearable

This was a slow four day process of unraveling but still having my hair wearable for work. I pulled this off by completely taking out the yarn in sections. Starting with the front section for a curly bangs look. My hair is growing back thicker which is the desired effect I wanted

To remove the yarns from my hair I had to pre- wet each braid with water. The hard intertwined hair I also wet with water first then a mixture of Shea butter and conditioner with Shea oils as a De-tangler.








I used my fingers to separate each one of the braids and to pull apart the strands that were clumped together.Once the yarn was removed I mini twisted the section and this is the result. 

 

To complete the wearable style I use rollers to achieve a wavy curly bang.

Tablet love- say hello to my new favorite things

Everyone  knows I love to doodling for years. I love drawing and always wanted my own tablet to test out all the cool vector brushes and such. The day is finally here I have purchased my first tablet.







Here it is in the box all ready for the CD installing drivers and all that fun stuff I have tested some new brushes and its love at first tablet pen tap. cheers to all the tablet lovers. Now i can perfect all my web designing skills.

Debt freedom feels so good

This happy surprize came in the mail yesterday. I knew it was coming I was counting the days. The National Student Loans Service Centre had somethine to tell me about.


Congratulations - Student laon payed in full this letter symbolizes my newly acquired status of Debt Freedom and it feels so good. It took me less than a year to woman up and take charge of my finances. To start this business I wanted to be able to manage this aspect for myself so I would know what a credible account management person could offer me. On to the next step as tax time will be rolling around I am looking for an accountant. Handling my own financing was not difficle but oh so boring on to the fun stuff after I get finished with preping for my first business tax year.
