Hair growth check after genie loc

Wow growth this time around amazing results after removing my yarn braids.  I measured 9 inches growth since my hair was super short in the beginning of last year. Now at the end of this year I have regain all that I have lost and I have stronger softer hair now.


After all the crazy things I have tried taking a break from it all was the best thing for me. Gone were the days of MSM or biotin pill mixing Castor oil( started giving me head aches). For me I had to make it simple cold washes and deep conditioning was all I kept up. This latest growth check caught me by surprise made me want to scramble all my hair check photos to see how far I had come. The from is now chin length and the back arm pit length so happy with my natural hair. salmon out!

Last Genie locs hair style of this season

Missing my real hair real bad. Since I started undoing my yarn braid twist. Checking the length by undoing just around the edge.

and back part Wow hair growth galore. Nothing official but arm pit length is only a few months away. The fro goodness to come in the summer time will be epic. After 2 years of health living to benefit my hair skin whole body. Loving the results of all the fun recipes and hair care blogs that have helped me along the way.

Saying good bye love, to my genie locs, need a trim and wash. No more  hours spent drying all the yarn on my head. I will miss this style but right now missing my natural hair more. Although its getting colder Ill be braving the random temps for some good old me hair days.

A day in the life my studio

Another day at the My jewelery designing studio where all the magic happens. Most things I ccreate dont start with a drawing but when working with leather it is a must. I start off with a rough drawing doodles to inspire my mind. Then I redraw fine tuning as I go. I love the feel on pencil on paper more so than digital pen on tab. My brain stays in the process and I can complete one thing without distraction. Leather is a very difficult material to work with. Is stretchable and mailable under even my expert knife maneuvering. Just another day making one of a kind pieces in my studio fun times. salmon out!

Genie loc and jewellery creations

I have been seeing the Pompadour hairstyle all over Toronto.My genie are shorter my hair growing faster than before. Researched to find the right balance for wellness. At this stage I think its a mess grow out disaster area. Winter is coming and fall is making its presence felt in the City. So im thinking longer colour and take this hairstyle to the next level. Dark to brown ombre like redo complicate but manageable. Something wacky maybe  red and purple streaks.  For now too keep this current look  fresh for days updo galore. Seriously though I am never repetitiveness in the hair department. I had the same hairstyle for 6 years once I took matters into my own hands change is constant and awesome. This is coming from an undiagnosed A.D.D  case, I change my hair, my style up my mind up every change I get.

The only things that remain the same my love of genie loc yarn braids and the totally natural looks I can pull off, natural products for my hair. Shea butter, Shea moisture,cocoa butter and black soap. I have found what my hair loves and I still enjoy cooking up hair treatments diy with essential oils. Still loving beauty diy testing and creating arts crafts and jewelery designing.

Rainy Days in Toronto yet again

Still cant hate on these rainy days, in the city. Looking to the bright side, my area will be especially misty later. Hopefully the rain would have stopped. Have an enchanting walk in the park maybe...possibly...nah. Then I thought why not blog or think about blogging to get your bloggidy blog goals going. Like so many post before this relegation to drafts, to be with the other countless drafts is just what may happen anyways. Seriously trying to  amassing a collection of pre blogger posts to queued posts on a regular basis. For the ultimate 256 post added to this year, because the passions out of this bloggidy blog.

Tumblr has got me in its crack pipe hold, so easy to just amass a level of pre post that the task is done,over and complete. Leaving more days open to head outside feel the last brief hot days of September before my favorite season comes around.

The rain in Toronto lets not complain.

Days like this without even a single ray of sunshine. I have learned to just sit back,  relax and create something fun with a crafty edge. Craft projects testing power! Off I went glue gun and recycled materials in hand. The adventure begins.

Its been a few long weeks now of straight jewelery design or working of some photo editing tech tips. Weeks of work days and spilled beads and toilet roll cutting. A fevered pitch of mad creative inspiration.It was all like what? where? how.

I can take no credit because it all came from a place of wonder and excitement.Adventure land i.e my pinterest obsession. 

My boards were buzzing my followers numbers climbed daily. It was a feast of inspiration  but the  projects were piling up, are piling up in various areas.

 Two down and a billion to go. So to not go over kill ill give my boards my pinterest a break and focus on just create mode.
