I started doing this blog because I was amazed how healthy my hair can be when making my own hair care products. I will continue doing research for ingredients that promote health and have a positive impact on the next generation. Reading products labels is the only way to keep children safe from toxins. The black community have no easy access to the information that we all need to make better safer choices.
I have taken this blog beyond hair care to bringing awareness to the hazardous ingredients present in everyday products. I noticed that most products geared to African American hair types in Canada contain some of the worst hazards. People try to look and feel the best they can and the products we use can do the opposite. These products are drying cancer causing have aging also irritating elements which is damaging to our health and beauty. I think black people are being exposed to more and more harmful ingredients from the product we have to use in maintaining our hair and skin.
My hair is finally healthy and its because of all the research I have done. I embarked on this journey due to the lack of natural products offered for my hair and now I am giving anyone the information they will find most helpful. So people Read labels and be sure to avoid the drying elements(alcohol) clogging elements(petroleum) damaging elements(mdm parebens..... a long list) being put in products which is having a toxic affect in our bodies and the planet. All the site I post are what I found most helpful to me to get the best benefits and keep away from toxins. So thank you all for dropping by be sure to drop in again and tell a friend ^_^
