Designing for fun

I love working on digital media just as much as I love working on everything creative. This latest work of mine is a photo edited to showcase my more unique jewelry pieces. Here is the first of a random series, that is if I decide to do another one.

  Using a few self taught techniques  turning this photo touching up the lighting and a touch of blur here and there, is all the prep this photo needed.


 My bargain find dress form  is my model in this edit. changing the awkward draped apron into  a sketch of a classy looking black dress. Our model is wearing one of my more intricate statement mix media necklace. This is one of those pieces that has taking me months of careful design changes. Taking my inspiration from  fantasy creatures. I positioned the necklace to look like  a strange tentacle made of pearls, gold chain and Byzantine painted Fimo clay talon beads I made.
