Its was that time of year again where I attempt to protect my natural hair from myself. The constant touching and primping takes it toll on natural hair and sometimes its good to take a hair break. Genie loc or yarn braids as most like to call them is a excelent non drying hair style that is perfect for natural kinky and curlie hair. Over the years learning from the best and perfected my own quirky version of yarn locs. Before it would take me days no two weeks for doing my entire head full of yarn. I made it long, short, curlie Slowly gaining the skills I needed to cut down the time it took you tubing made it a breeze. This time it only took my a few hours, like a good 10 hours. My fastest time turning a bag of yarn into gorgeous dread like hair style. I mean when a mature older dread man (looking in his 60's) called my a "Dreadie" and "nice dreads" Then by golly I have got it.
