She is still into doing her own thing with her hair but the dreaded can I straighten it question has come up a few times. I keep her well informed on the danger that perms and relaxers pose and she prefers it flat ironed. Which is ok with me.
For this huge afro all I did was undo her braids add moisture ( shea butter) and blow out with a blow drier to de-tangle before flat ironing. This process takes extra time but I wanted to achieve a huge fro and it was an amazing success!
