A day in the life my studio

Another day at the My jewelery designing studio where all the magic happens. Most things I ccreate dont start with a drawing but when working with leather it is a must. I start off with a rough drawing doodles to inspire my mind. Then I redraw fine tuning as I go. I love the feel on pencil on paper more so than digital pen on tab. My brain stays in the process and I can complete one thing without distraction. Leather is a very difficult material to work with. Is stretchable and mailable under even my expert knife maneuvering. Just another day making one of a kind pieces in my studio fun times. salmon out!

The rain in Toronto lets not complain.

Days like this without even a single ray of sunshine. I have learned to just sit back,  relax and create something fun with a crafty edge. Craft projects testing power! Off I went glue gun and recycled materials in hand. The adventure begins.

Its been a few long weeks now of straight jewelery design or working of some photo editing tech tips. Weeks of work days and spilled beads and toilet roll cutting. A fevered pitch of mad creative inspiration.It was all like what? where? how.

I can take no credit because it all came from a place of wonder and excitement.Adventure land i.e my pinterest obsession. 

My boards were buzzing my followers numbers climbed daily. It was a feast of inspiration  but the  projects were piling up, are piling up in various areas.

 Two down and a billion to go. So to not go over kill ill give my boards my pinterest a break and focus on just create mode.

New chapter

Sticking to this  positivity year and holding on strong  which is surprisingly awesome turn of events. My new studio space was found. Opening up so much more creative possibilities to explore. It will be a space for creating and do it your self crafting that I love. A place where my imagination can come alive. Be it drawing, amateur photography,sewing, painting, sculpting jewelery making oh so very pumped in general about what will eventually fill this space. I plan on overwhelm  artistic senses in this studio. Time to live like the boss and enjoy living dreams and holding on for the crazy ride.



 My office of zen and creation is a space to be fill pure unfiltered artistic exploration.

Yet again another labor of love kinda piece. I have been working like crazy as my first tax season looms. Very exiting times going over paper work looking for an awesome account. Realizing all the things I enjoy doing verses the things I want to avoid. Making awesome jewelery and personal care products is a welcome addition to my life.

Like fashion season I wanted to be a step ahead

This all started a few months ago an idea came to me and I began to act on it. How could I get more organic food into my life without all the high cost monopoly. I want the best and I can have it these are the step I wanted to take. While having fun playing in dirt catching some worms and building a self sustaining system that needs little effort from my end

- get a compost system up and running to eventually support worms  check

test dirt on some seeds  to see if its good for growth. check

Keeping up other everyday  ideas so and to continue learning new things and easy ways to do them. check check

  5 months of composting minimum effort tossing whatever in and the fruits of  my labour are, fast growing, healthy plants that are green and have long root systems.

My in door garden system is sure to be a winning success like all my random ideas.

New randomness is being planned for January. With new year just around the bend and all my tax papers ready and waiting to be calculated and sent to revenue. I want to  use that money and do some good by going on vacation for most of the next  year. Business is awesome so time to  launch my business in new places. I think Jamaica should be my first vacations top.









 Say hello to my vermi-compost after a thrilling night of nightcrawler catching a few misty nights ago. I might have to return them to the wild depending on how much they actively break down organic waste because I am looking for some fast action power compost.

This set was commission by one of my co-workers. She had problems with a bracelet and wanted me to redesign something for her earrings and a necklace using parts she already had. I had fun it was very easy to make this client happy and now she has two wearable pieces from jewelery she would of otherwise ditched.

Rapid hair growth in one month. Yarn braid love

Braiding my hair was just what I needed this summer so many styles to rock. Everyday I change it up with all the new hair flowers and such. I wasn't expecting these kind of result 1inch of growth in  one month+. Yarn brains does not have that heavy feel that normal braids have which I like because there is very little hair stress. I have tell this because my edges are growing like mad!!!!









Taking these pics was tricky but I did it just under one inch in some areas. Trying to grow out the front and sides to keep up with my crown.















Here we have my Edges. It has come a long way and  no more  visible signs of hair damage. My Edges are health again and growing again. I keep my hair from getting flakes with a combination daily morning spray with my leave in treatment and conditioning spray. It keeps my hair moisturized That I do not even need a deep condtion during the week only a clarifying wash with black soap shampoo. Well thats it all I wanted to share

How To Make Short Coarse Hair GROW fast?

My hair is short steadily breaking and coarse. i been trying to grow my hair out for years i tried braids,relaxers,sew-ins,weaves and everything else. My ends constantly need trimming almost every month and a half and i do not know if thats normal or not But im starting to quit the weaves and braids and start using DooGRo shampoo &conditioner and the revitalizer.i seriouslly want my short coarse hair to grow out and i do not know what to do

I do a blog trying to help people like you braids weave relaxers do not help hair growth. for your hair you need A a satin or silk pilow case of bonnet cotton dries out ethnic hair types and it was drying mine out.
Then your need to know your hair needs constant moisture Vaseline or any petroleum products only coat hair and does not give it moisture. To keep your hair moisturized so that it stop breaking you need a deep conditioning or a protein conditioning. Look up avocado hair mask on you tube. Also look up healthy hair care for african american hair there too. It will be a repeat of what I am telling you. check my blog for more details. Keep it simple sista has long hair and great tips on what she does to keep hair long.
It will take time but I was able to get my hair healthy in 2 months. Check out vegetable glycerin spray and aloe vera gel. Also I use dr bronner castile soap it saves money and you will only need s tiny bit

to manage split ends is called dusting your ends look up some different ways on youtube.I do the twist method: section off a bit of hair and twits the strands into a spiral. this will make the different layers of ends stick out then all you do is trip (----) much look up k.i.s.s on youtube she has great split ends tips.

Angel Power New item Etsy oh yea!

Aaaaaahmmmm! In LOVE with these made two sets so far found earrings went crazy and bought 4 pairs. I up-cycled it into a neck chain and for a  Limited time offer  from may 11, 2011 to may 30 2011 post for sale on Etsy.

Made with my love of creating interesting things that sparkle and brighten all in a   pursuit of wisdom. Latest jewelery commission

 I love working on commission pieces.All the random jewelery I made for myself and never sold on Etsy or Artfire two site which I frequent  cant let go..... I would totally remakes these for myself oh yes.

This pieces was really fun to make. My client supplied the accent pieces  12 triangle spaced findings and I created something special for her.








I changed up the design to suite her neckline. She loved the previous piece I made so much ...wears it all the time lol. I changed it and repaired it 5 times till she was happy with the piece.  I suggested that it should be longer  long or short it looked good now but all her friends agree it would look better longer I was giving her the style but the customer is always right. I have always heard this saying this is how I will interpret it cant wait for the next one!!!! .

Previous piece came with earring and bracelet this would originally $80 but I am a deal finder and giver to bad their are no takers. No interest in a awesome deal Eli product pack. Im thinking everyone just cant believe it just seem too good to be true. The contest still going till the 3rd.
